Josh Ilano

Josh Ilano has been working in Journalism since 2021 first inspired by the grassroots reporting of Colorado Public Radio and the Denver Post. Since then, they’ve worked for CNN, NBC, WPUB, and the Pace Press. Often, they’re influenced by Filipino Disco, the works of Tom Wolfe, and anything James Dean-adjacent. They aspire to buy their Mother land in Golden, Colorado one day.

JARED ENGERMAN
EXECUTIVE EDITOR
Jared Engerman is the author of short story collection Psypsarin and the novella Poolboy. His work has been performed by the 938 Theatre Collective and he previously served as the Co Editor-in-Chief for Fish Magazine. Originally from the Denver-Metro Area, Jared has changed tires in Frisco, choreographed children’s theatre, and was a fry cook at the Waffle House on Wolfensberger Road.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Brooks Travers is a recent graduate from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in the fine arts, concentrating in Graphic Design. While freelancing and designing within the music industry over the last few years, he also served as the Graphics Manager for WXSU 96.3, his alma mater’s radio organization; he helped several students flesh out and ideate on distinct identities for their shows, as well as direct the organization’s visual identity across campus wide events. He really likes Dean Blunt, huge pants, and running.

Maya Anela is a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology where she majored in advertising, marketing, communications while attaining a minor in film and media studies. When she’s not on her phone, she can be found on a stage or in front of a camera either dancing, singing, acting or doing all three.

HOLDEN CASEY
CARTOONIST - HUMOR
Holden Casey’s style combines a range of disciplines from figure sketching to acrylics, into relatable yet absurd humor. From an early age, he was inspired by his grandfather Jack Ziegler, who served as a cartoonist for The New Yorker for four decades.
